-the post that was so be for yesterday:
continuing on with the awkward dating stage between my posts and any readers they might have, i couldn't muster up a good idea full of manly testosterone in which male readers might be interested. every idea i had seemed more appealing to the ladies. probably because i'm all woman and chock-full of estrogen. so i decided on a relatively neutral topic: television. scratch that. good television. what is good television? basically, if i watch it, it's good. if not, there's a good chance that it sucks (no offense).
glee -- not great but good enough ...no, scratch that, i just watch it out of habit ...
new girl -- def good
psych
modern family
up all night
the office -- it's lost some of its pizazz but it will always be a classic
30 rock -- tina fey ftw
parks & rec -- amy poehler ftw
community
chuck -- the best thing that has ever happened to my eyes. team bartowski for life
snl -- come on, who doesn't like that show? (don't answer, i don't want to know)
then there are of course the classics that are no long on television: arrested development, i love lucy, all those 90's cartoons/shows (mostly on nickelodeon), that 70's show, reba, and you can be your sweet life i've seen every episode of ever show i've mentioned. flight of the conchords almost made the list, but i haven't seen enough episodes to legitimately awesome-ify it yet. i'm going to one day, though!
so those are the classy tv shows that i keep up with. there are others like "so you think you can dance" that don't count because they're rtv and ...*whispers* secret life of the american teenager ...<--i am not proud of that but it, like glee, is a habit sort of watching -_-
but to redeem myself from admitting i watch that nonsense, i'm going to move on to psych. does anybody watch it? has anybody been keeping up with it as religiously as i have? if you have, i officially like you because you're on of the few people that do.is it just me or has this season been crazy amazing so far? these first three episodes have each made me more giddy than any other episode and this season's new theme-song-video-montage thing? i think it's so great! also we've only seen the icky little shawn once so far and i am all too okay with that. i miss the cool little shawn, he was delightful. and did you see the "last night gus" ep? it was totally a "make-fun-of-the-hangover" episode and they did it so well! wah! i love that show.
on a sadder note, my most favourite show ever, "chuck," comes back for its last season tomorrow night [[that's tonight, friday]] depressing? you bet your not-so-sweet life. i'll whine more about that later, probably. i just want the world to know that layna t. franklin detests the thought of chuck ending and will always be chanting "one more season!" i could stare at zachary levi as chuck bartowski for the rest of my life
...
on a less awkward note
those are my most pressing views on television at the moment and those views are as testosterone-y this post is gonna get (maybe save for the zachary levi bit)
